This is the premier book on all things Van Gogh. It chronicles his entire life. I have read about 20 books on Van Gogh and this has been the most comprehensive biography. It's a large book as well. I especially enjoy the photos of the buildings, people and places from Van Gogh's life. A very special book for any Van Gogh enthusiast.
