These are the proceedings of a conference held in Oaxaca. The book has five parts. (1) A group of philosophical essays that are very good (Fuentes, Jose, Alvarez, etc...) (2) the code of ethics for friends of museums (?) (3) arts administration articles by directors of a lot of museums worldwide (good for specialists) (4) 5 or 6 boring introductions by the president and the governor and bla...(bad) and an excellent short selection of poems on Museums! (very good) I would buy it for the essays or the poems alone. The code and the stuff by directors are very specific to specialists in the field.
